How do I delete a pad I created?
Currently, pads can only be deleted by setting an expiry date when creating them. If you need a specific pad removed, please contact us with the pad URL and reason for removal.
Are my pads private?
No, all pads are publicly accessible to anyone with the URL. Do not share sensitive or confidential information through PasteGen.
Is there a size limit for pads?
Yes, pads are limited to approximately 100KB of text content. This is sufficient for most use cases including large code snippets and extensive notes.
Can I edit a pad after creating it?
Currently, pads cannot be edited after creation. If you need to make changes, please create a new pad with the updated content.
What happens when a pad expires?
Expired pads are automatically deleted from our servers and can no longer be accessed. The deletion is permanent and irreversible.
How do custom URLs work?
When creating a pad, you can optionally specify a custom URL slug (e.g., "my-notes" instead of a random string). Custom slugs must be unique and can only contain letters, numbers, hyphens, and underscores.
