PasteGen is a free text sharing platform that allows users to create "pads" containing text content and share them via unique URLs. The Service includes features such as:

  • Text and content pasting/sharing
  • Automatic URL detection and linking
  • Custom URL slugs
  • Configurable expiry times

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use PasteGen only for lawful purposes. You are prohibited from using the Service to:

  • Illegal Content: Share content that violates any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Harmful Content: Share malware, phishing links, or content intended to harm others.
  • Harassment: Use the Service to harass, threaten, or intimidate others.
  • Copyright Infringement: Share copyrighted material without proper authorization.
  • Spam: Create multiple pads for spam or advertising purposes.
  • NSFW Content: Share explicit, adult, or inappropriate content.
  • Personal Data: Share personal information of others without their consent.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • All content you create and share through the Service
  • Ensuring you have the right to share any content you post
  • Keeping your pad URLs secure if they contain sensitive information
  • Understanding that pads without expiry dates remain publicly accessible

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of any content you create using PasteGen. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display your content for the purpose of providing the Service.

We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.

6. Public Nature of Content

Important: All pads created on PasteGen are publicly accessible to anyone with the pad URL. We strongly advise:

  • Do not share passwords, API keys, or credentials
  • Do not share personal identification information
  • Do not share confidential business information
  • Use expiry dates for temporary or sensitive content

7. Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms of Service without prior notice. We may also remove content:

  • In response to valid legal requests
  • To protect the safety of our users
  • To maintain the integrity of the Service

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may:

  • Perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
  • Modify or discontinue features without notice
  • Experience outages due to factors beyond our control

9. Limitation of Liability

PasteGen is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for:
